Show the criteria, not just the colours
Every layer in a suitability model reflects a choice: which data to use, how to classify it and how much weight it carries. Publishing those choices alongside the map lets reviewers challenge assumptions rather than the whole result.
Test the sensitivity
Running the model under different weightings shows which sites remain strong regardless of assumptions — often the most valuable finding of all.
